Each rung is a multiplier of your bet, and the game is a ladder you climb one step at a time. It's simple to the point of being restful — which is either the charm or the limit, depending on your taste.
I could read the whole ladder off the screen, rung by rung: 1.2×, 2×, 3.5×, 7×, 15×, 30×, 70×, 150×, 300× and 800× at the very top. Every step up multiplies your stake by more, and every step is also a chance to fall. The decision is entirely yours — bank the current prize, or push for the next rung and risk it. There's a 'Sweet of Fortune' mode toggle up top and an Autoplay if you'd rather set a target and let it run.
The numbers: 96% RTP, and a maximum win of 800x your stake — which is exactly the top rung, no hidden ceiling above it. The 96% is a fair, honest return. But 800x is a low roof next to the 5,000x, 10,000x and 20,000x slots I usually cover; the biggest single result this game can hand you is that top rung and nothing more. That's the trade with a step game: the reward is capped and legible, and there's no dreamy jackpot lurking off-screen.
At €2 a run in demo, I had it both ways. One climb rode up nicely and I banked €140 — that's the 70× rung, a genuinely satisfying pull. Two other runs I let ride and they cashed at €4, the 2× rung, which is the polite way of saying I barely got off the ground.
